May I, Photoshop is considered by most as the best professional grahics/photo editing programme around (it is, the industry standard anyway), while Paint is a bundled grahics utility that will get a few limited jobs done if you can't be bothered firing up a real editing programme. Feel free to +/- to that Met's  |

I used for a year. But Avast is better. I gave up on AVG at home and went to Avast because I was sick of the AVG auto update program I found the only way to gaurantee that the auto update would work was to leave the PC on 24/7. I found that even with the PC on at the schedualed update time it still dosn't always update. No such problems with Avast. As far as catching viri goes. I suspect that the're much the same.. |

| 413538 | 2005-12-20 01:08:00 | I was getting sick of AVG locking up when it autoupdated so I changed to Avast. Didn't like it as it looked more useful as a MP3 player rather than a reliable antivirus solution. However it did pick up a certain piece of malware AVG didn't find ;) I've changed to NOD32 now. Excellent proggy. |

| 413539 | 2005-12-20 01:19:00 | pctek, Can you set NOD32 to auto-update, like I can with Avast, or do you have to remember to click on it and ask for the updates?I have works entire wider area network set to cascade update with NOD32. Any of the PCs on our system will be at absolute max 2 hours behind any update released from NOD32. Our international data traffic bill for that.. 1x(however big the update is). -Qyiet |
