| 681783 | 2008-06-24 07:22:00 | Hi all . I have an avi file on my 'puter that I want to use in a PowerPoint presentation . It plays happily in Nero Showtime & Windows Media Player . However, when I put it into PowerPoint 2007 - it doesn't . :( The first frame is present, but nothing else happens . I suspect I need some codecs - but what? Ideas would be appreciated . :) TIA as always . Cheers R . M . |

| 681787 | 2008-06-24 07:55:00 | I've had some hideous public experiences with playing (or not) movies in powerpoint . :xmouth: Anyhow, have a read of this: My movie doesn't play ( . microsoft . com/en-us/powerpoint/HA100777161033 . aspx" target="_blank">office . microsoft . com) Mmm - I can see complications there! I'm missing something called 'vids:dvsd' compressor - and then I'll put this together on PowerPoint 2007 and then try to run it on PowerPoint 2003 . I think we might just 'role-play' instead! Thanks for your help . I'll think about this! |
