412854 2005-12-15 04:23:00 Whats everyone going to cook?
The usual?
Or something different?
Or beans on toast.
My partner is voting for beans on toast.

But we're getting:
Smoked Stuffed boneless Turkey
Homemade Pate Maison
Salad (mainly cause of the cucumber weed in the garden among other things)
Undecided nibbles selection

Fresh raspberries depending how many more are ripe down the garden that day...

412855 2005-12-15 05:31:00 Hmm we'd probably end up going over to friends (probably) or family (as if, theyre too stingy) if thats the case, I'd bring either Choco Mousse made with fresh eggs and cream, choco cake (recipe on my site), orrrrr my infamous Char Siu chicken wings.

Otherwise dinner is just whatevers in the fridge. Its just another day to me.

412857 2005-12-15 07:47:00 I hate xmas, but it's a good excuse to buy the stuff I like without worrying about the price.
Saturday night. A fresh crayfish. $100. And the two of us will clean it up in one sitting. And a nice bottle of Sauvignon Blanc.

Xmas day. Rolled fatty pork belly. Roasted with apple sauce. New potatoes, asparugus and baby peas.

412858 2005-12-15 08:06:00 Probally have a big lunch, then not bother to eat, Have to make sure the gut is empty for boxing day, Which is 20 trillion times better then christmas day.

Why?

Because the Cemetery Circuit will be happening, just like every year, which means hookin up with all the lads in our usual possie and cracking the 9am beer, followed by the 9.30am beer, and so on and so on and so on.....Untill we get to the lunchtime Whiskey...

..............YeeeeeeefreakinHA.............

412859 2005-12-15 08:47:00 We care stuff all about Xmas. But my brother's coming up so if I can get the rest of the whanau to gather round me and the boys will probably do the usual curry competition. I'll win of course. Greg (193)
412860 2005-12-15 09:13:00 I go over to the neighbours / friends and we just have munchies; crackers, cheeses, grapes, pickles ( they're vegies) olives, pickled ginger, cucumber, avocado, flash bread, and prob some exotic thing they picked up from somewhere round the world .

It's great, just pick and choose as you want rather than three kilos of fat . And then strawbs and melon and papaya and that strange apple grows up a pine tree .

Pretty good i reckon . And I'm a poor b**tard beneficaiary . :D

And I've got the hots for their oldest daugter but I won't mention that .

412862 2005-12-15 09:56:00 Haven't decided yet, Not real concerned with seeing him, Caught his show a couple of times in Aussie and I can't say it was good enough to invest that amount of money in, If the rest of the lads are going then maybe, But we generally have an after bikes party every year that is bound to be better then Jimmy.

Plus its highly likely I will be asleep.......

412863 2005-12-15 20:03:00 I'm getting a new BBQ for Xmas so I'll probably be "experimenting" with that. Got the fire extinguisher handy for those unexpected flare ups. :D Sb0h (3744)
