| 682903 | 2008-06-27 02:39:00 | Right click on the task bar, and go to task manager. On the processes tab, find out which process is using all the CPU. It might be one of the svchost.exe processes. If so, I have a fix... :p You can click on the heading (where it says CPU) to arrange them by whats using the most CPU, makes it easier to find out which process it is. System idle process is supposed to be reading between 90% and 100% when the PC is idle. |

CCleaner is about the only Registry Cleaner that's worth bothering with. www.ccleaner.com The PC is probably being slowed down by software running in the background, and may need more RAM, but we can get to that later. If a process is using 100% cpu, that will slow things down a lot. |
