415282 2005-12-25 08:31:00 The RIAA are fascist scum with an insatiable appetite for profits -- Like someone else stated in this thread "they can go sit and swivel" -- I feel a little sorry for the artists but I can overcome that and gorge myself on P2P-delivered goodies! Chemical Ali (118)
415283 2005-12-25 09:17:00 A gentle reminder: Downloading music without paying a dime is considered as stealing. I believe stealing is a crime, after all?

Cheers :)

415286 2005-12-25 20:50:00 you can only steal a physical item because that requires you to remove the item from the owners' possession. Copying copyrighted works is a much worse crime, and as such has much worse penalties if you are caught. Greven (91)

415289 2005-12-26 05:44:00 I don't get music off the net coz I don't have the hardware capacity anyway but if I did I wouldn't feel guilty.

Here's just one justification.

This whole biz has highlighted the issue about who gets what part of every dollar for the sale of recorded music. It's brought it out into the open where it wasn't such an argued about issue before and that is good.

PS for struth's sake jameskan how often do you hear the word 'musics'?
