Cause I just had a case of this last week, where someone set up a new PC on Vista Business with Office 2007 . . . old xtra account that had worked on a previous machine (XP/Office 2003) sweet as, but was failing on this new machine in much the same way as yours . . . . . We made all the changes that Xtra suggested, but it didn't go until we installed SP1 - still not too sure why that made it work, but it did! :thumbs: No Nof,he is has XP . |

POP3: pop3.xtra.co.nz - port 110 SMTP: smtp.xtra.co.nz - port 25 Make sure it's not smpt as Cic said. ;) Make sure SSL is off, and the 'my outgoing server requires authentication' is NOT ticked. It may pay to re-type username and password as well. Thanks Wrato,problem solved. |
