| 682217 | 2008-06-25 09:05:00 | Strange but true...for the benefit of anyone who might come across this tale of woe. I discovered that one of the USB connectors (forming part of a USB Bridge - a simple USB network between 2 PCs) was not making proper contact with its socket, or perhaps even shorting out one of its pins. I unplugged the USB cable and voila!, the BSOD problem went away. It was an accidental discovery and I would have never thought of looking there for the solution. Thanks for all your patience and help. The solutions to problems often only make sense in hindsight. |
