2005-12-30 07:02:00 | Didnt know where else I could get hundreds of computer people from NZ to listen to me...so im posting this here... Anyone know where I can grab a Dell XPS Laptop in New Zealand? It's not on Dell's NZ website, infact, I think they only sell em in US/UK. Dont think I've found a laptop with specs as good as this here in NZ anytime before. Anyone know any other sources where I can pick one up from?

The only thing I can suggest although it is a little hard (and expensive?) is to import one from US/UK, they are US $2299 + shipping for the base model and for the advanced it is US $3054 + shipping, not sure exactly how much shipping would be sorry, but here (www1.us.dell.com) is the link to the Dell US site. HTH :D |

2005-12-30 23:20:00 | That link gave me a dialog relating to an Unknown Certificate with 3 choices of action. Deciding on the coward's way of refusing to open the site, I found the box kept returning so fast I couldn't get rid of it & the homepage for some time, despite trying several combinations. A minor matter maybe - but I'm curious. Anyone else find the same? (No, don't try it if you haven't already)

2005-12-31 02:05:00 | Sooo - I am not alone, after all. Luckily I was merely curious & the site doesn't matter to me. Provided it doesn't happen with anything else, I'll let it remain a mystery.

2005-12-31 02:33:00 | The alienware site is pulling it's images off a secure server with a broken or expired certificate. Hence the errors. | ninja (1671) | |
