www.cableforum.co.uk

It says 1mb and 2mb speed internet broadband are going unlimited from Jan 2006. Is this true? I hav got Ntl broadband 1mb speed, and my cousin has 2mb. He has recieved a letter from ntl informing him that he has unlimited. But I aint.

All Ntl 1mb users, hav u recieved any newsletter talking bout unlimited download?

thnx :D

418529 2006-01-05 19:00:00 You do realise that NTL is a British ISP which isn't available in NZ, right? Have you tried calling them and asking? Or checking their website? pixeldust (6619)
418530 2006-01-05 19:06:00 Yh, I called them twice, but one said that there is unlimited and one said theres no unlimited.

And yh, Ive checked their website, but nothings there.

418533 2006-01-06 01:00:00 Of course, there is no such thing as "unlimited". If every one (or even a significant proportion) of the subscribers took this to be true, the ISP would promptly run out of the bandwidth it is buying from its suppliers. Or the ISP would promptly go bankrupt. "Infinite" quantities of anything cost infinite amounts of money. Graham L (2)
418534 2006-01-06 01:16:00 And in any case, you're limited by the speed of the connection so you won't physically be able to download over xGB of data in any one month. somebody (208)
