After just seeing, and being a part of what the moderators have to deal with from a few people, I thought these Moderators don't get the praises they deserve, which is why I am creating this thread. Anyone who hasn't noticed what a sterling job the Mods do - mainly in the background, but sometimes having to field garbage publicly - needs his/her head read. I'm sure at times they do feel it's a thankless task, so it's good to let them know every so often that they're appreciated. It's obvious that this thread was started with the best of intentions for that very purpose, but being graded for a vote is far from a compliment in my book - rather the opposite. They're not running for office, after all. I know we have top-notch Mods. I'm happy to say so. But I won't vote because I find a poll an unsuitable ( even slightly patronising) way of showing that. Just the way I see it... |
