416839 2005-12-31 08:47:00 When I try to tag the mp3 file or drag it to the sony mp3 file manager.Sony mp3 file manager and the mp3 tag program says that the file is invalid the file.

The mp3 plays and it doesn't have any copyright protection

Does anybody know what seems to be the cause of this? How do i fix it?

416840 2005-12-31 09:03:00 Does this apply to all or only that particular mp3 file? It could be corrupted (just a wild guess), can you successfully play it through other device (such as the computer)?

Cheers :)

416841 2005-12-31 09:13:00 I have about 30 folders worth of mp3s.About 10 folders works but the other 20 doesn't.The 20 folders that cannot be dragged into the file manager plays fine.

Nothing wrong with the mp3 file.Just that I cant drag it across

416842 2005-12-31 09:42:00 What was the source of the mp3 files that will not drag? godfather (25)
416843 2005-12-31 09:55:00 Downloaded the music from Bit torrent and some are encoded into mp3 from my album cds

I've ripped the music into a mp3 cd using nero and it seems fine

416844 2005-12-31 09:57:00 a lot of media players will play broken files fine. however some editing programs require unbroken files. very comman to get broken files with fileshareing programs.

i would try another program and see whats broken.

416845 2005-12-31 09:59:00 My Sony DN-E9 cd player plays the mp3 fine.Dunno why it says invalid file when i try to drag.

I suppose if you were to use other mp3 players not sony it would be fine as u can drag and drop by windows explorer.
