And my, what even sharper eyes you have Mr Wolf!

You are dead right Plod, 10/10. It is a 20 pound note, send from some Welsh rellies for the kidlets for Xmas. As it is going to cost $5 to convert it to $NZ I have given the kidlets the equivalent and will put the note with my collection of overseas currency ready for the next trip somewhere.

I wouldn't know a 20 (gads! can't use the "alt+0163 sign here!) pound note if it hit me in the face...but it sure is pretty..just thought you wuz printin' yer own!

Dear Moderators: Why can I not use the alt+ codes here? It just signs me out or erases the page I just spend minutes writing and I had to do this post about 4 times now...exasperating!

Yes, it is quite a nice note and it smells nice too, like proper money should. :p

The reason for that is because it is made of paper, unlike our notes which came out in plastic a few years ago and don't have that nice "money" smell anymore. I thought the note was plastic to begin with, until I tried ripping it.... ooops! :p

Printin' me own? Well now, that's an idea.... ;)

must be a local-user thing..it still does not work here...and it took me three attempts to put an alt+0163 in here and it dumps the screen every time and takes me back to the top of the forum...hmm..you got some sorta magic fingers?

418043 2006-01-04 23:55:00 Rob . . . are you greening me?

I wonder if the comma in this statement is in the wrong place: "I see what you mean Joe, pain in the back-side . "

If you put it between the "mean" and "Joe" it probably takes on the meaning you want . . . . . . . . . right?

Seriously . . it does not work here . . but that's ok . . another shift in the time/space continuim that I shall iggy .

As a white predominately English background I have an amazingly little grasp on the English language . Who knows where the commas are supposed to be? If you took offence, that’s a bummer because I usually like to know when I am offending someone . :D LOL

I have the same problem as you .

The last bit of gibberish I was trying a copy and paste from Word .
