2008-06-29 00:47:00 | .Net framework 1.1 and 2 files from here ? (www.ryanvm.net) If you have, does the 1.1 SP1 install include or exclude the 1.1 install file as well? Likewise, for NF 2.0. I'm just making another ISO / cd up, and I've added both of those files to it.. I'm just wondering whether the main install files (esp for 1.1) need to be added as well.

2008-06-29 01:19:00 | Think I answered my own question. By the looks of it, the 1.1 file is all you need. Add it (and NF 2) to the I386/SVCPACK folder. Extract the svcpack_in file. Open svcpack.ini after. Add NF 1.1 and the 2's filename to [SetupHotfixesToRun] and bob's your uncle ! Burn the ISO, in theory the updates you've added (And Net 1.1 and 2) will be slipstreamed. Then install it. Then whatever updates and Net Framework 1.1 and 2, with updates are installed.

2008-06-29 02:11:00 | I didnt used Nlite for these two files . I used the Integrator from the site I posted . And added these as an addon . I didnt know if these were addons or hotfixes . Well according to a site I saw, the entries for both went to the right place . in svcpack . in_/inf . And the main files went in the right folder (I386/SVCPACK) Integrator added these filenames to the compressed svcpack_inf file and also added both exe files to the I386\svcpack folder automatically . I didnt add them manually . Funny thing is, I've just noticed for Net framework 2, (from the site I posted), it says it cant be run from svcpack . inf . Then why did Integrator from that site put the entries for NF 2 in that file lol Umm all I did was copy the SP2/3 cd I have to the hdd, added most of the IE/XP/WMP 11 hotfixes / patches drivers etc with Nlite Finished Nlite off . Then ran the Integrator, pointed it to the same folder Nlite was using, added these 2 files . The Integrator will add whatever files to the same folder you use for Nlite Then once you do that, you can use Nlite or Integrator to make the ISO . As both slipstream and both create ISO's . Both should work in Nlite, as it supports 7z, just add both as hotfixes/addons . Dont forget to select the hotfixes/addons button in Nlite first, so u get the screen to add them .

That may not be until next week lol. I have no blank cd's only dvd's. I've done the ISO, just have to get something to burn it to This bit I posted: Add it (and NF 2) to the I386/SVCPACK folder. Extract the svcpack_in file. Open svcpack.inf after. Add NF 1.1 and the 2's filename to [SetupHotfixesToRun] That's if you wanted to do it manually, but if you use Integrator (and maybe Nlite), it'll do it for you |

2008-06-29 02:48:00 | Hmmm, seems some people are having probs with some of these installers (www.msfn.org) Maybe because they've added the NF 2 link I posted with Nlite. Not this Integrator program? One guy has written a possible workaround (blogs.msdn.com)

2008-06-29 04:38:00 | Ok the site (where this Integrator is) was right NF 2.0 didnt install lol. It started then went backwards lol So, I'll add those entries to svcpack.inf as the other site says. And see what happens. NF 1.1 did install. You'll see if either NF 1.1 or 2 install, their window / progress appears during the install. But, you have to add NDP1.1sp1-KB928366-X86 to the Integrator (For NF 1.1, Nlite brings up an error) as it uses switches. I missed out 951376 for XP, so I'll add that too. Other than that and NF 2, it was nearly up to date. IE7 + WMP11 + Moviemaker, after I tested the install/ISO were the same versions as what they are on here. I shall try VirtualPC this time I managed to burn the ISO to DVD with PowerISO

2008-06-29 07:17:00 | Ok I've installed Virtual PC. Set the other hdd as the virtual cd (can you select another hdd besides the main hdd)?? Captured the ISO and released it but nothing happens So now what? Or do I burn the ISO again or what? Edit: somehow it did something and has now decided to boot from the ISO
