| 683390 | 2008-06-28 17:12:00 | My laptop does not, well has not been finding wireless connections for the past 6 or so months. Now, I've had problems with it in the past - one of those was that it was randomly crashing and then all of a sudden the screen would flick off and not come back on until I would reboot. Though that has been fixed, I'm unsure if it has anything to do with it. My brothers PC (where the connection would be coming from) was not WEP blocked, but now it's. However, other connections were and aren't being found either, when they are on my PS3. So does anyone have any advice here? Its a BTHomeHub wireless we have. Thanks. |

| 683392 | 2008-06-29 11:05:00 | Its no problem now. I was awake until 3 am in the morning trying to heal my laptop as much as I could. The problem was that when I got the laptop the wireless program was not installed, but could still pick up the wireless connections (didn't know this until now.) So after a year or so, I guess it just ran into problems and stopped listening to me. So then yesterday I inserted a disc and it loaded it all up again, but in a new program for the laptop. I have no idea why it didn't work, or stopped working when this program was not on my laptop, but at least its done now. |
