2008-06-27 21:16:00 | Every time I click on a link in Outlook it opens up windows explorer and does not go through to the links web address. It's properly some small setting or macro, but I don't know where to look. | billyw (13904) | |
2008-06-27 21:22:00 | Is it / have you made it the default email client?? | Speedy Gonzales (78) | |
2008-06-27 21:39:00 | Sometimes outlook get s confused as to what its meant to be opening as well, try opening the control panel/Internet Options/programs Tab/ Where it says Default Web Browser Click on Make Default. Once the links are working you can always make another web Browser default if you use something Like Fire Fox.

2008-06-28 04:39:00 | If the above does not help do the following 1. Quit all programs that are running. 2. Click Start, and then click Run. 3. Type regsvr32 urlmon.dll, and then click OK. 4. When you receive the "DllRegisterServer in urlmon.dll succeeded" message, click OK. If this does not resolve the problem, repeat steps 2 through 4 for each of the following files (in step 3, replace Urlmon.dll with each of the file names below): Shdocvw.dll Actxprxy.dll Oleaut32.dll Mshtml.dll Browseui.dll Shell32.dll Restart the computer to enable the changes to take effect.

2008-07-03 05:24:00 | :) Many thanks to all who responded, I did make IE7 the default SE and it did the trick, such a silly thing causing such big frustrations. Next time a big hammer will do! | billyw (13904) | |
2008-07-03 05:36:00 | Get a bigger dog as well. :-0 I did not get to see the hammer but have met the dog. Still got both legs attached above the knee though. A shame about lower down. Only joking here Wainuitech as I hope all members understand.
