| 684060 | 2008-07-01 00:05:00 | Speakers work as I can play a CD, but no system sounds. I have an ASUS P5LD2 mobo with integrated sound, realtek driver. Runing XPproSP2. Here is the error message from directx diagnostic DirectSound test results: Failure at step 19 (User verification of software): HRESULT = 0x00000000 (error code) Can anyone shed any light on getting my sound back? |

| 684061 | 2008-07-01 00:07:00 | Welcome to PressF1. Have you downloaded and installed the latest audio drivers from the Asus website? It also wouldn't hurt to install a Codec pack, K-Lite (www.free-codecs.com) is the one to go with. |
