683858 2008-06-30 05:12:00 at work we are having trouble with slow Broadband. Our download speeds are through the roof, however our upload are usually only 60-70 kbps.
We are with Maxnet, on the Max download/and 128 upload.

here are some speedtests from www.speedtest.net.

speedtest #1 Auckland done 27/06/08

Speedtest #2 Wellington done 27/06/08

Speedtest #3 Adelaide done 27/06/08

Speedtest #4 Napier Done 27/06/03

Speedtest #5 Auckland 2nd time done 27/06/08 Between my first auckland test and the 2nd one was about 6 mins.

Speedtest #6 done Auckland 30/06/08

I have done many over the past week and they say about the same for upload speed, (Im not worried about the Downlaod speed cos as you can see it's pretty good.)

I dont know if the upload speed is the problem, cos I can get onto some sites alright and some I cannot. I can't even get onto our ISP's website it gets to about halfway and just sits there, I can't access my Gmail from work for the same reason, all the sites I need to log onto I sign in and then it just sits there Half loaded.
I have phoned them up and they have been very helpful and trying to sort out the problem (I'm not complaining about there help. There service is 2nd to none).

Any Ideas???

683860 2008-07-01 22:46:00 Yep we have always used Firefox, and when this started I thought i'd try to see if this was the same with IE7 and it was doing the same thing. The weird thing is I can use Press F1 alright but not my Gmail, Even mt ISP's (Maxnet) Website does the same thing, it gets half way then doesnt load any more, it is getting to be a pain. not knowing. We use 'PC Tools Internet Security' and we have used it from the beginning of our Broadband use. and nothing has changed, other that the usual security updates. I have tried to shut down our Internet Security and it still does the same thing.

Any help is greatly appreciated
Cheers
Aaron
