| 683691 | 2008-06-29 16:51:00 | I need a very small (eg like a Blackberry) but with a bigger screen so that when travelling overseas I can surf to transport timetables; book tourist activities/events, accomodation etc etc. Ive tried on my cell fone, but the screen is too small. Is there such a thing as an addon screen say almost laptop sized that I can plug in when I arrive? Any suggestions welcomed I only want to use as above plus emails. Thanks |

Hers is on Telecom network but I assume there is a Vodafone version as well. As vitalstatistix said the iPhone will be one of the best at all that. Although it is not available for another couple of weeks here in NZ you can still get one through other sources. I have an iPod Touch which has almost all that the iPhone has except the phone part. It can still do email, maps, web, calculator, weather, youtube, contacts, notes etc and can synch with Outlook when it is linked to my wireless network. |

| 683698 | 2008-06-29 23:40:00 | EEEPC doesn't come built in with carrier charges, data caps, extortionate contracts, or even worse (one presumes) termination fees. +3 for EEEPC |

I just got an email from Vodafone updating me on the iPhones "imminent arrival" link here view.eid.co.nz which will have more applications for it and will fit in your pocket - the EEEEPC won't. You can also call people on the iPhone. ;) |
