420871 2006-01-14 02:10:00 I got a spam email trying to sell me office XP, and the first of the quotes it put in to get past spam filters was "Stupid is a bondless concept". I thought that was just so funny I had to share it with you.

"Office XP - $60

420872 2006-01-14 03:20:00 Wow that's amazing, one of the millions of spam messages on the internet had a typo in it. Can you imagine what would happen if every person that saw one of these decided to make a thread about it?

To make this more inane (incredibly that's possible), you've included a valid working link to the spammers site selling software. I'm sure he's grateful for the extra business.

:groan:

Stupid is this thread.

Note the tag ?xbywglv on the web address.

That likely gives the spammer a "commission" for every hit on the webpage.

Not a wise thing to post here, really.

I am sure the spammer is delighted though, probably earnt him a few extra $ and encouraged him to send more to those addresses, as they obviously paid off with that payload.

420876 2006-01-15 20:33:00 I must admit, it is a rather odd comment to have an email that is trying to sell something. Then again, it did bring attention to it.

Next thing they will be including jokes with the emails...
