420624 2006-01-13 02:05:00 I have a Sony DVD player and can also play DVDs on my HP Laptop (which I prefer).
But my HP laptop manual draws attention to the fact that it MAY be limited to only 4 changes of setup depending on the region code. I suspect the Sony may be the same.
I want to change regions only if I really have a good reason to do so. But how do I tell how many changes I have got left?

420625 2006-01-13 02:16:00 The standalone player will probably have a hidden menu to make it region free. google the model number to find out how to access it. Greven (91)

Otherwise, invest in something like DVD Region-Free from dvdidle.com

420627 2006-01-13 20:15:00 they have a all zone region for ships

For some DVD players it might be Zone 0 or 9 or something,
