| 419319 | 2006-01-16 02:22:00 | Wait,thats not all, I shall eloborate. 6 years after the release of MCM2 we are finally getting a new motocross game. As some of you may know the company behind the MCM franchise ditched the PC format and moved to the console platform, Now in order to sqeeze a few more cents out of their aging game engine they are releasing the last incarnation of it on the PC. The game is shipping with a pretty swish looking track editor and has physics that are a vast improvment over MCM2, and it includes Motocross bikes, ATV's, Monster Trucks, buggies and.....er.....helicopters... On the downside it will have Xbox level graphics as its pretty much a dirct port. Anyhow, Some may find it of interest, I know back in the day we had quite a few Kiwi's online everynight, And the local NZA team put up a good show. American release is slated for 16th Jan, With other parts of the world in a staggered release, I don't know when it will appear on the local market. I have contacted VR Concepts and they are looking into it, They suggest 16th of Janurary but I would imagine we would be futher down the release schedule... Uh, If some flash harry wants to redesign it for then go right ahead. Strange that I created it in Frontpage and it only displays correctly in Firefox.... |

| 419323 | 2006-01-16 09:16:00 | I like these 'Metla's Game of the Month' posts. Especially since I got my new pc :) Tossing up between egosoft x^3 and rFactor for my next game. Already got a racing game, but rfactor is cheaper than x3. Hmmmm. Considering all Metla's raves on rfactor, I think I am leaning toward that. Or maybe both :) Roll on payday. |

| 419324 | 2006-01-16 21:29:00 | Has anybody else heard that "Swines" is now a free game... free for download. I tried to get it the other day but server was too busy for a quick download. But I suspect it'll get better. Apparently it's quite fun, with excellent graphics. |
