419969 2006-01-14 05:05:00 Hmm ... for the same price I can get the same thing and text ANY NETWORK with Telecom Antmannz (6583)
419970 2006-01-14 09:51:00 I'm surprised Vodaphone is managing to keep it's customers. the only reason I haven't switched is because I only spend about $5 per month on txts & free text weekends make a huge difference. If only the weekend included friday night. Greven (91)
419971 2006-01-15 06:10:00 Apparently Vodafone will not extend the free txt weekends. This means that for vodafone customers, there will be only 8 more weekends untill this runs out (untill march 31 this year).
I cannot tolerate this daylight robbery telephone companys in New Zealand are doing. 20 cents a txt is the worst rip off i've ever come across, yes thats a bigger rip off than the dude that was trying to sell an Amd Duron 1.3 for $85 lol.

I reckon we should all boycott or strike against these telephone companies, i mean ***? highest SMS charge in the OECD??

Telecom's 10 dollar txt is the only worthy SMS plan i've come across. why cant vodafone do that?

Well im not going to be staying with vodaphone then if they are going to rip me off
20 cents a text is just overbord and 30 is even worse

419974 2006-01-15 08:51:00 I love the YouChoose plans, $10 for 1000 txts to 021s, and they dont get counted on weekends... its AWESOME! Chilling_Silence (9)

When vodaphone introduced this offer, they set a time limit on it . That time limit is about to expire, and they have yet to announce that they are extending it .

They don't have to announce that it is about to expire . It is in their best intrests to let the deadline pass quietly so that people will still send heaps of texts in the weekend, then wonder where all their money went .

There is a small amount of hope that they will wait until a couple of weeks out from the expiry date & announce they are running it for another year . How close did telecom get to their expiry date to announce $10 text is continuing?
