| 683702 | 2008-06-30 02:29:00 | That is true Bantu although I was comparing the calling abilities of the iPhone with those of the EEEEPC and you can't put the EEEEPC in your top pocket or pouch on your belt. | vitalstatistix (9182) | ||
| 683703 | 2008-06-30 03:00:00 | Last time I checked there were only three E's, although they're updating them all the time. Also, last time I checked only batman could get away with utility belts. I could be wrong though. |

| 683704 | 2008-06-30 03:14:00 | I think you would need good eyes for surfing the net on an iPhone. My old eyes certainly would not be up for the job. I know a woman in USA that mod'd her iPhone and is able to run third party apps such as IRC on it. Her eyes must be a lot better than mine. It has always been a dilemma to me also as to what to take on a trip, particularly overseas to handle modern technology and keep in touch. My Laptop is too heavy although I have taken it once. Buying an Macbook Air or EEEEPC or what ever they are would have benefits if I were a frequent traveller, but a lot of money for a once in a year holiday, considering I would not use a laptop much at home of any size. |

I could be wrong though. There are although I see most people calling MAC computers too so I feel it is justified. :p As for surfing the web on the iPhone - that is what the zoom in/out (aka tap on the screen) function is for. It iPhone would have to be one of the better mobile devices designed for web surfing currently. I have a feeling that most people who use iPhones would just have them in their pocket. |

Mac's are computers... or just expensive paperweights, as far as I have use for them. I'm not getting into this though. I swear I'm not. Although I could be wrong about that too. P.S. Lol @ Beeswax :D |

Indeed they are, it was the all CAPS of MAC I was referring to. As for expensive paperweights, that could be any computer if the user is incompetant as are a lot of users. A phone that calls people? Hallejulah! Steve Jobs is Jesus!! The CEOs of Palm, RIMM and Verizon might be calling him Satan fairly soon. ;) |
