Can't remember what it was called or who it was by. perhaps I ahve read some Tad Williams books before. I didn't realise that shadowmarch was so new. My sister found it at the warehouse book sale for $7 |

I got bought Shadowmarch over the holiday period and though "oh, cool", but on learning here that it's a trilogy, I'm hoping the same doens't happen as with the OtherLand series. IMO, I've found that Terry Goodkind's Sword of Truth series to be a far better read. |

| 419479 | 2006-08-12 04:32:00 | I'm with Metla. Couldn't finish the first Otherland book. However it was a best seller and enjoyed by many. Each to their own. Peter Hamilton's Nightfall trilogy is better. As is Dan Simmons Hyperion (www.amazon.com) series. |
