As highlighted by the Sony situation last year, Rootkits are a particularly dangerous threat with their ability to evade traditional detection methods. Once a machine is infected with a Rootkit, it is quite difficult to detect and remove, therefore detection before infection is a huge advantage. More information is available at www.nod32.co.nz |
