It was the grating sound that finished me off :eek: ] The human body is an incredible setup and it was all the medical studies and seeing the body parts working, the amazing ways the body sets up protective/defense mechanisms - be it tissues/organs/white blood cells, etc., that convinced me that an explosion - or whatever it was -that some people seem to think started evolution, is bollocks. [just stating my personal opinion, no desire to debate it thanks]. Indeed,best not to debate it,but you might tell us why so many are born with faulty bits.Or is that just an oversite of your pal? bollocks is the word. |

Note how many manmade instances are involved. Have you got any faulty bits that we might be interested in hearing about :D One of my bosses used to rave on about us evolving from apes. One day I was reading a magazine and there was this pic of a huge hairy ape in a grotesque position. I called out to my boss that one of his cuzzies was in the magazine. Won't repeat what he said after viewing the pic. We all gave him hell for the rest of the day, replying to his directions with ape noises, swinging on the doors etc. |
