How is using common sense instead of AV not suitable for an argument.
Unless of course you use the former.?

I wonder why.
Could it be that it is because Mac owners are not spending all their time installing, configuring and updating firewalls, antivirus, and spyware programs and then scanning and attempting to remove all the nasty things that inflict windows systems which are evident by a big percentage of the posts on this forum.

Too true - Quantity rather than quality seems rather evident.
Jan 13 nearly 30 posts in the one day and very little substance.

421477 2006-01-16 20:45:00 You already said that the thread sucks did you not?

AIRI You started this thread, Then you said "it sucks". Further to that you posted more.

Just pointing out your slight mistake as usual.

Please note I did not call you a simpelton.

I am very surprised you actually have an "a" as I guess it would have fallen off some time back.

I usually put my "a" on a chair while posting and I think you don't have an "a" anymore.

I think your infatuated.

Anyhow, I will continue to post where and when I please with no consideration to the fuzzy area's that you filter your thoughts through.

Very strange cat.

Each to their own Cicero.
I was only replying to a comment about no Mac problems on this forum.
It might be of interest to some people who might wonder why this is.

Every day I talk to many Windows users who are completely frustrated with the effort required to maintain a secure system and are seriously looking at an alternative and this is a computer help forum after all.

421479 2006-01-16 21:16:00 I wonder why.
88% of uses on Windows PC
3.4% of uses on a Mac
0.54 of uses on Linux PC

To me it would look like you could have:
88 posts about a problem Windows PC
3½ about problem Macs
½ a post about Linux

What you say above is true, but we mortals don't mind a bit of inane banter.
