421575 2006-03-04 22:15:00 I haven't heard "Dead Puppies" in ages I think i had it on a Dr Demento album that and "Poisoning pigeons" were two of my favourites,
I'll have to track down a copy of "My cousin the mosquito", might even have to start listening to the radio again

421576 2006-03-04 22:41:00 Oh, you must hear "My cousin the mosquito"! It is a highly instructive public health promotion, full of delicacy and gently modulated tones. The singer's voice is sweetness itself. It is only a short tune, about 15 minutes I should think. Well, it actually feels like it is 30 minutes long, but I am probably being unfair to the singer, so I have halved it... John H (8)
421577 2006-03-04 23:12:00 The songs are actually called "Cousin Mosquito #1" and ditto #2. The singer's name is Congress-Woman Malinda Jackson Parker.

If you want to get a sense of the singer's delicacy on the piano, and her dulcet tones, you can get a wee sample at:
