421526 2006-01-16 01:17:00 Heh, facinating thread, as one poster says, Who do you believe Microsoft or Gibson?

Seems people are quick to abuse Gibson, but no one actually attacks what he says, just that he is an idiot to say it. Microsoft say its a "legacy code" issue. ie: they forgot to take it out?

I come pear that to everyone hates MS or vBulletin people hates phpbb people

Its a personal option as well :2cents: & you every thing you should read should be taken with a pinch of salt… (As half the time you wont know why some people hate other people)

I always try to look at what axe someone has to grind. The second sit above has as many truths as untruths in it and the URL says it has an axe to grind. They also didn't show any of the hard evidence that they talked about. I like the way people have hard evidence and don't show it or bring in a third person with no name and so no way of verifying what is said.
The first site had a few too many Windows fan boys and as one poster says why is everyone attacking the messanger and not the message.
Steve Gibson has done more good for the computing community than harm
