| 1428881 | 2016-11-18 10:25:00 | .. on my Aspire V .. running windows 8.1 Its saying: Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43) Ive searched for a fix for this ... and find Open the Driver tab and then click the Uninstall button. This will remove the USB controllers driver software (the low-level programming that makes the hardware work) from your system. If I remove the driver software .. how then will it work .. there is nothing about reinstalling it Leigh |

| 1428884 | 2016-11-25 20:47:00 | .. running windows 8.1... Open the Driver tab and then click the Uninstall button... In Windows 10 this geeky procedure is replaced by a simple on/off switch and no need to pair anything or re-boot. (I don't know whether the on/off switch actually reinstalls the driver but it works. In Win7 I had to "remove the adapter" or something like that - also remove the individual devices - then re-install everything...) Gotta love Windows 10 :) |
