I'm guessing it's just something like Defender ... CCleaner and a couple of others in a single application. Not looking at it for myself, but for some friends who keep coming to me with "little" problems to fix .... I am no computer tech and have just enough knowledge to get myself in that canoe with no paddle :-) |

Like the products you pour into car engines that fix everything Do a google search, if you find heaps of glowing reviews its often just a scam It may be 100% OK, do you take the risk (I wouldnt) Just dont expect fixit programs to magically fix all PC issues , dont be surprised if they make things worse :-) forums.majorgeeks.com |

I am no computer tech and have just enough knowledge to get myself in that canoe with no paddle :-) just some advice , I would avoid freebee fixes for friends . It often doesnt end well . They want more & more of your time, 'little fixes' can actually be full wipe & reload . They want it done ASAP, doesnt matter if you have other stuff you need to get done 1st . Then youre responsible for it, forever, and further issues might result in you getting blamed regardless of cause Last freebe I did , on a Friday I took off to do other things , a quick 'urgent' fix on neighbors PC that was riddled with malware. 3 hours later , there goes most of my day off. He wasnt impressed when I declined the next time . Just sayin :) |
