| 686019 | 2008-07-07 05:23:00 | Hi I've been using the webmail extension for thunderbird for a while and it has always worked perfectly, but just recently thunderbird has sometimes been crashing within minutes of booting up, or if it does run it will eventually crash, I have tracked the problem to my hotmail (windows live) account which is accessed using the webmail extension (my Yahoo account accessed the same way works fine) But the hotmail one comes up with the following error "connection to server localhost has timed out" And then Thunderbird crashes (although right now the bloody thing won't crash), the most recent piece of mail in the mail box is almost a weekold even though new mail has arrived on the server. Anyone else getting a similar problem, or have any ideas I am using the latest version of thunderbird on an XP machine, and I have made zero hanges to the account setting for a couple of months, (apart from today stopping the hotmail account checking for mail on startup) Thanks |
