| 685784 | 2008-07-06 09:49:00 | I have had my Asus VW193 screen for about 5wks now, and it was only up until last night that i have had a problem with it! I just finished dl this old quake mod game called tremulous :P, I clicked the exe and the game crashed, after it crashed the screen became really screwed , the contrast/resoulution went crazy, anyway, i rebooted...it was still the same (about 800x600 and the colour stuffed) i went into display settings and tried to change the resolution..the max was 1024x768! usually my screen is set to 1440x1280 or something! Can someone please give me some advice on how to change this!! i have installed new ati drivers and tried to reset the card settings and the screen settings but still nothing!! :( Thanks! |

If you didn't remove the originals uninstall the drivers from add/remove programs reboot and install fresh ones, the old ones could be corrupted and actually corrupting the new ones as well. |

| 685787 | 2008-07-06 11:12:00 | Click the start orb / go to control panel / programs and features/ locate the entry for the drivers from the list, single click to highlight, click uninstall / remove (from memory) along the top of the listing box. | wainuitech (129) | ||

| 685789 | 2008-07-06 23:00:00 | Hmmmm If you go here (support.ati.com) and download the removal tool cat-uninstaller .exe - it is meant to remove everything relating to ATI. BUT I have no Idea if it runs in safe mode or on Vista. |
