423192 2006-01-22 16:25:00 Joe . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . that is a very cruel thing to do . That amounts to an "I Dare You" to a Kiwi Bloke . PJ

Did you notice anywhere that I used the negative in the statement?

Never = not in this lifetime, this century, this eon, this millenium, this time-space continuim, example: "Never drink antifreeze" or "Never" eat radioactive waste . (Both are very good advice by themselves) .

Do Not, etc = typically a warning of pending failure viewed by a post-climactic evaluation of great physical harm, mental anguish, antisocial activity or damage to inanimate objects or animals . Example: "Do not place head in active microwave oven", or "Do not poke the lion with a stick" . (The first here is open to debate, the second is just plain ol' good sense unless you are an exceptionally fast runner) .

Besides, the "damage" done by what I told you NOT TO DO is correctable by hitting ALT/F4 over and over . And, you can't say that Windows didn't tell you what was gonna happen anyway . . . you got double warnings . . . from me and your 'puter!

Now, PJ, please don't tell me you tried any of these examples cited above . . . . YOU ARE NOT BEING CHALLENGED HERE . . . THIS IS NOT A SLY PLOY FOR YOU TO HARM YOURSELF!!!! YOU HAVE BEEN NEGATIVELY ADVISED AGAIN!!! My job of social engineering and public enlightenment is complete here, I move on to a new arena .

Watch this area for future posts .
