| 686009 | 2008-07-08 01:52:00 | A few things to try (clutching at straws??) install new USB drivers, epsecially if SP3 is installed if its ever had a mapped network drive, that can causes issues if the mapped drive is the same as the assigned USB drive letter. Try manually assigning a drive letter at the other end of the alphabet: such as t: or z: Does the USB port work 100% with a non-storage device (eg printer)?? |

| 686010 | 2008-07-08 02:04:00 | It did have SP3 installed, but it wouldn't update, so it was removed. I'll try reinstalling the USB drivers as SP3 may have something to do with it. I haven't got another USB device to try, except for a battery charger. There are no mapped netork drives, and it doesn't automatically assign a drive letter to it. I can get onto the disk by assigning it a drive letter in Disk Management and then right-clicking it and selecting Open or Exlplore, but no other way works. |

| 686011 | 2008-07-08 03:01:00 | I tried reinstalling the USB drivers (I had to reinstall everything, including the tablet PC's integrated hard ware manually), but it didn't work. :( Assigning it as drive Z: didn't work either. :crying Any other ideas? |
