423421 2006-01-23 07:24:00 Didn't the US used to have a grace perios where you could download mp3s off limewire (or another p2p client) as long as you delete them after a certain amount of time? Greven (91)
423422 2006-01-23 07:55:00 P2P mate -- Limewire is very good (so I hear ...) -- avoid Kazaa as its riddled with virus laden & dummy files

Disclaimer: "I have never ever illegally downloaded music off the inter and neither did I ever have relations with that woman"

423426 2006-01-23 08:22:00 I'd agree with whoever said go to the warehouse - I quite often see the compilations of 60s or 70s for only $5 for 3 - 5 CDs. Surely that isn't too much to pay, and you never know what you will discover on those compilations - there is usually some stuff you like, some that you just have to laugh at, and some that makes you cringe. 423427 2006-01-23 08:43:00 Well I'd be more definite about not ever having had relations with 'that' man (or any other), but I did mean woman! Chemical Ali (118)
423428 2006-01-23 09:45:00 Download and install LimeWire - then type in the name of the song/music you want and download it in MP3 format. Zippity (58)
423429 2006-01-23 15:45:00 Amazon you can try before you buy (music CD, some times)

In fact last year I did just that, tried it last year on the Amazon web site and ordered it, the email came last Tuesday to say the CD was on it's way, and I got it last night when I got home,

What a pity there was not a NZ company with the Amazon standards, maybe there is, maybe I don't know about it.

Just one more thing, last year "I tried before I buy" (from Amazon) then I got a local company to get it for me, but they get a bit of money out of me with DVD's from time to time.

Anyways.. if i were you Heaton, i'd be tempted to go to second hand music shops, there's heaps of shops that have bins full of music from that period that are in the bargain bin for a dollar or 3
