685579 2008-07-05 11:09:00 Hey,
I bought a Asrock Penryn1600SLi-110dB motherboard ... and a XION Solaris Black Steel ATX Mid Tower...

Now... I am kinda new to this whole PC building thing...
My query being... Where do I plug the Front Panel Wires, these being: Power SW (Orange/white), Reset SW (blue/white) and H.D.D LED (red/white)??
Part two, also plugging... The USB cables... Being: VCC, USB 2-, USB 2+, GND (all on one plug), and ... VCC, USB 1-, USB 1+, GND ( all on another plug).... theres also a single connection GND Plug... Anyone able to help me out here? Im really shtumped!

Any help appreciated :)

PS... The Mobo manual doesn't really help

685580 2008-07-05 11:34:00 I just downloaded the Quick install PDF (download.asrock.com) and had a quick zip through.

Look near the battery of your motherboard. All the chassis plugs are there.

Page 2 #16 is the System panel stuff. (HDD, Power LED, Power Switch)

Page 2 #19 is your USB 2 stuff.

Pages 22 and 23 go into more detail on the connectors and the layout.

685581 2008-07-05 12:02:00 The manual shows the System Panel Header on page 26, Power and Reset buttons can plug in either way, HDD LED cable will have a little triangle on the side of the plug showing the positive (+p) lead, plug it in as the diagram indicates (wont matter if you get it wrong, the HDD light just doesnt go), same with the Power LED.
With the USB cables, plug them into the USB header shown on page 27, making sure the leads are oriented with the black wire (GND) to the end of the header with the pin missing (as shown in the diagram).
