| 685423 | 2008-07-05 05:26:00 | Hi Folks, I have a corrupted hard drive which has a bad partition table. The BIOS identifies the HDD and also a recovery program called Power Data Recovery. PDR reads every single file on the disk and ive copied a few files over no problem. What do i need to just re create the partition table. It's not a boot drive. Just one i used to store media and important documents. Dont think theres any physical damage as it was scanned very quickly. Scan results also verified each file with its proper filename as opposed to some which just give file 001, file 002 etc. Is it possible just to fix the partition table??? Any help much appreciated Cheers! |
