686895 2008-07-09 08:30:00 Evening all,
Everytime I right-click a file or folder, and send to my CD drive for burning to a disc, I get a message,"some items cannot be copied, do you want to continue?"
What would be missing, and am I doing something wrong?

Any advice would be appreciated.

686897 2008-07-09 08:46:00 Mostly pictures, but can be mixture.
What are thumbs [other than what are on your hands], have seen this odd times in message, but do not know what they are?

686898 2008-07-09 09:23:00 Don't really know contains some sort of data I usually put it onto the cd as well and it seems to work, should really do a search on thumbs but no time now. gary67 (56)
686899 2008-07-09 09:42:00 Thankyou for that, will do a search for thumbs myself, and see what I can find.
The next time I encounter the message, I will copy it out and post it for your comment.
There is always something new to learn, is there not?

686900 2008-07-09 10:37:00 A big thankyou to Gary67 for advice.
I googled both 'thumbs' and the whole error message, and am now greatly enlightened.
Thumbs are to do with picture details re pixels etc and are a db file.Nothing to be concerned about.
Re the message, there was an excerpt from Windows xp, the missing manual, by David Pogue, that explained this quite clearly.
I am now wiser than an hour ago. Again, thankyou.
