| 426766 | 2006-02-03 06:19:00 | Anyone tried it? Just loaded it myself but when I tried to compile something gcc ain't there. Its not even available to install. Have downloaded the rpm files off a SUSE site but getting dependency errors. I get there eventually but its a bit frustrating. Looks really good though. Hopefully my wireless network card will work too. :rolleyes: |

I remember a comment from one of the SuSE NZ developers from a mailing list and he said to: quote: Under Yast --> Software --> Change Source of Installation --> suse.linux.co.nz (Add this as http source) Then under Yast --> Software --> Install Software (Search for gcc) I've tried SuSE 10 (as a beta release) and it looked very swish and polished. Has some really neat configuration tools. :) |
