| 426341 | 2006-02-02 15:07:00 | I am just getting a bit PI55ED off with some of the replies, now and again, The last one someone asked for help I posted the obvious, which sometimes one forgets when we get stressed out, next the joker" LOL" it is not a laughing issue, just a standard service routine. and useful tip if someone else does not know. My last post before that I had trouble trying to make a "credit card" payment with IRD, Lets get the facts right, if I was lucky enough and could get money out of all you people who come to PRESSF1, I would have a page at my web site that worked, something you could find quickly with no trouble and then move on, I would make it my priory to see it worked everyday, I put a question to this forum that as someone stated looked like a rant, well if you think it is a rant, that's up to you, we live in a free speaking part of the world, (have a nice day!!), but the real theory was, I posted problem to start a new thread and was thinking maybe someone might come along and say something like "are you going blind mate, stop eating take-aways they must be useing sheep's brains, I found it in five seconds here is the URL for the forum for you fill out", because obviously IRD does not think it is broken Yet someone comes along gives me no help at all, yet hands me abuse ".... why don't you go to the bank" well some of have to work you know, what's wrong with paying it over the web site after I get home from work? I followed another thread, two people used there real name, christen and surname, it was a intelligent thread until other people joined it and had log on names like "ISmellLikeDogPoo" then the intelligence from the thread started to fog over and disappear. I sometimes look at a thread and think I could make a quick five word joke that would be no help to the person posting the problem, But instead I think "Eric get a life" For once can we have some adult replies, maybe you might like to mention something about your own thread. |

| 426344 | 2006-02-02 19:15:00 | About posting the obvious, I find that good, because at times you can be so wrapped up with your problem and annoyed with it, that you never even think of the simple things. Still, it can be rather amusing sometimes, so personally I wouldn't get worked up about that (but yes, you have had more than one experience). Anyway, something like: Q: My sound is not working A: Plug your speakers in Obvious answer, could even be a stupid answer. I can definately see some people posting 'lol' to that. Unfortunately(or fortunately, depending what way you look at it), there have been once or twice when answers like that have helped me, heh. Wasn't speakers though, I forget what it was. But hey, telling you to go to the bank could have been an obvious answer. If I was looking online for what you were, I would not have considered going to the bank, so therefore that answer would have been useful to me (apart from the 'handing you abuse' part). |

| 426346 | 2006-02-02 20:54:00 | Eric, you could post the obvious reply back, you've already stated it, "It's not convenient for me at this time to go to the bank" and, "IRD offer online payments, I have an internet connection so it makes sense to make use of it" or, "no thanks" . On any forum, internet or otherwise, you're going to get a mixed bag . If they don't all suit you, ignore them or fire a quip back, whatever spins your wheels works  BTW, IRD have a different agenda and way of approaching it than you or I would . If you can figure their little ways out and find a rational explanation and way of dealing with it (for normal folk), let me know . For the smartarses with the obvious, which I'm not looking for, get rucked, in advance . |

Human nature being what it is, any meeting place will attract whiners, jokers, hasslers, drama queens, the so-called 'normal' person, and those who 'troll' (say something just to get a reaction). Most are helpful most of the time, but then everyone has there days. |
