424933 2006-01-28 08:41:00 A report in our local paper told of The ABC having negotiated the rights to show Super 14 matches, all the AB test matches and Bledisloe Cup matches live to a number of countries including NZ. What was not said, was if this is free to air, or on the Sky network only. Does anyone know any more as I was going to get Sky installed proir to the start of Super 14 but would not bother if it was free to air.

sky still remain has the exclusive right to broadcast to all of the rugby match this year in NZ. Prime TV will have the hosting rights for the delay coverage...

ABC has got the agreement to broadcast the rugby in Asia... and i don't know which sky u talking about (is it at UK or NZ), yea i think UK sky has the exclusive rights on the rugby too

424935 2006-02-05 07:49:00 I may be wrong about this, but if you buy a decoder and satellite and aim it in the same direction as all the Sky ones - towards PANAMSAT 2 - I believe ABC Asia Pacific (abcasiapacific.com) is available free to air (yes, I realise that it would be cheaper to get Sky if you don't already have the equipment, but the concept is interesting) . :) maccrazy (6741)
