686972 2008-07-17 02:09:00 True. Why does Comodo say it protects against Trojans and Malware? Doesn't an AV program do that? Or is it just saying that because It helps you manually block programs? Blackflag486 (13947)
686973 2008-07-17 02:17:00 Well if you know what youre doing it can block trojans / whatever. When it asks if u want to block whatever. So you can get rid of it after.

Ask on the comodo forum, about it. If you have any questions about it

As I said, I'm not using it and I didnt make it.

Thats what an AV program is meant to do, if it knows what it is

686974 2008-07-17 02:29:00 Right Right. Blackflag486 (13947)
686975 2008-07-17 09:37:00 I played several maps with the sound card disabled in Counter-Strike. I will now run 3DMark03 to see if it crashes or not. Blackflag486 (13947)
686976 2008-07-17 09:51:00 Ran 3Dmark03 and It passed with 32000 score range.. I will run 05 and 06 when I get the chance tomorrow. Blackflag486 (13947)
686977 2008-07-17 19:28:00 Ran 3DMark 03 - 06 ran all benchmarks and passed everything.. NO errors or crashing.. without soundcard... So.. I do have a Radeon 3870 with built in Audio.. But its threw HDMI, how do I get that to work.. haha. I'll try the Audigy.. I doubt it will work though.. Blackflag486 (13947)
686978 2008-07-17 20:11:00 K, I'm gonna try those 2003 drivers from ABIT website.. Lets see if it works.... If not.. I'm gonna buy a 15 dollar sound card! w00t! Blackflag486 (13947)
686979 2008-07-17 21:01:00 I installed the realtek HD audio drivers, and it worked fine... I got into CS and I got blue screen after 5 mins of game play.. here is this log

IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (a)
An attempt was made to access a pageable (or completely invalid) address at an
interrupt request level (IRQL) that is too high. This is usually
caused by drivers using improper addresses.
If a kernel debugger is available get the stack backtrace.
Arguments:
Arg1: fffff680000ea078, memory referenced
Arg2: 000000000000000c, IRQL
Arg3: 0000000000000001, bitfield :
bit 0 : value 0 = read operation, 1 = write operation
bit 3 : value 0 = not an execute operation, 1 = execute operation (only on chips which support this level of status)
Arg4: fffff80001a65506, address which referenced memory
