| 426613 | 2006-02-04 01:09:00 | Stupid people annoy me. They give the rest of us humans a bad name. Imagine in the future when we make first contact with the Vulcans and instead of asking us all about how we managed to build a warp-capable space ship in an old missile silo, they instead snigger and say: Check out the "Darwin Awards" you will find being stupid is quite common. |

How can a person really think they have a personal relationship with the entity that created everything? Whose existence can't be tested, falsified or even in some cases investigated. And say to those people "Oh if you were born in X culture you'd hold to Y religion instead because that's what you were brough up in?" "No." they scoff. "Mine's the right one." And amongst these people are lawyers, financiers, even Uni Profs. Scams are strictly small-time compared to these creator of the unverse types. |

| 426615 | 2006-02-04 03:30:00 | What amuses me is the trend lately for sportsman, particularly Americans, to praise God for helping them. I was watching golf recently when this guy, who was well in front with 4 holes to play, started to choke badly but still managed to hang on and win by one stroke. In his after play inteview he said he prayed to God to help him and praised the Lord for letting him win. What about the other poor buggers. Did God say - Oh stuff them. Go figure | Dally (6292) | ||

| 426617 | 2006-02-04 04:35:00 | I think you'll do SC, first the formality of a short interview in the form of a simple knowledge test, just to keep things above bored, you understand. Q. Do you understand the terms dictionary and thesaurus? A. Dictionary you use for Scramble Q. Do you own a dictionary or thesaurus? A. What... are you implying that I read books?! Q. True or False?: No cat has eight tails. Since one cat has one more tail than no cat, it must have nine tails. A. Hmm, depends what it retails for. Q. Do you know the probability of a 4-3-3-3 split in Bridge? A. 99% chance that more than one car will go into the river? Q. What is the meaning of "QED"? A. Quite Enough Drink Q. Do you feel that some of these questions were designed with you in mind? A. Mind, what mind? Q. Have you attempted to cheat? A. Only on the wife, but she doesn't know, oops- now she does! You have 3 hrs to complete the test. Hey, give a guy a break- I was using the typing finger to 'open and aerate the nasal passages', takes twice as long while multi-tasking. So, what's the prize...pizza, lite beer, an ear wax? |
