425773	2006-02-01 02:40:00	I still play total annihilation ocassionly, but usually only single player. I've heard the expansions for it are pretty cool, but I've never found them for sale in new zealand. All time favourite RTS for LAN. We played it to death here at the office a few years back - used to have a regular night each week, with 2 against 2. Damn good fun. 425774	2006-02-01 04:00:00	Go Frozen-Bubble! :D Just installed the Quake 4 demo for Linux kindly supplied on the Feb NZ PC World DVD. Not really into that style of game as I usually get slaughtered too easily :waughh: , but I thought I would give it a whirl. Have an audio issue at the moment which makes understanding mission communications a tad difficult :illogical Last game I really got into was Morrowind, The Elder Scrolls III which shows just how long ago that was :p . I used to spend hours at a time in it until I lost a hard drive which hadn't been backed up, and couldn't bear starting all again :dogeye:	Jen (38)

Did you know they still make Fan Missions for it :p I'm also a bit of a novice System Shock 2 fan (And I also got to do some voice acting in a SS2 Fan mission :D) Other games tucked away my repository include... Command And Conquer as well as the Covert Ops add-on. Command And Conquer Red Alert with all 2 add-ons Duke Nukem 3D Atomic Monkey Island (All four of em) Indiana Jones And The Fate Of Atlantis All three Thief Games And a few more	bob_doe_nz (92)
425780	2006-02-01 06:03:00	Ok, now have rFactor. Cool graphics but... clearly I am an arcade racer. Will have to try and use that thing next to the accelerator. Crazy, I get to a corner and turn the wheel, and the car just keeps going straight. Bah! Need some serious practise.	mejobloggs (264)

From I was reading just the other day that maybe canned, seems after 3 years they don't have a game, The company who put up the money based on early tech showcases have put their hand in, fired half the crew and told those that remain they have a few months to deliver or they take the project off them entirely. Like I said they have a learning curve, But for a start you can enable anti-skid braking, other wise as soon as you lock the wheels you start to skid,in whatever direction you are travelling. Being based on reality you have to let off the revs, chuck her down into the right gear,brake,and travel around the corner. Give her 20 or so hours and you will be making progress, If I could suggest an excellent track to get started on it would be Toban Short. Once you learn the game and how you have to drive it you will get better in leaps and bounds.There are many tricks to keeping your car pointed in teh right direction and on the line you want to take.
