| 686405 | 2008-07-10 03:47:00 | My current (yuk!) HP w19E monitor has met with some unfortunate water damage (not deliberate!), so Mr Insurance is about to cough for a new one. I'm leaning towards a Viewsonic or LG, but I'm looking for a monitor that has height adjustment (as well as tilt). The current HP has neither and has a crappy bright/dead pixel warranty too! Most of the product specs I've looked at don't actually say whether they're height adjustable (let alone waterproof! :D), so I was wondering whether anyone here mght point me in the right direction with some model numbers... 19 or 20 inch - don't really care (not sure yet whether the insurance company will want to specify); intended use is mixed - browsing, home office work, a bit of gaming, watching DVDs etc. Anything with a 5ms or less response time will be more than adequate I would think, so long as it has a good contrast ratio... I have the HP 2045w 20" LCD at home w\ 1650x1080 res.....height & tilt adjustment..... h10010.www1.hp.com OMG...its $650 though....I'm sure it was cheaper than that when I bought it....you might as well go for a Dell Ultra Sharp 22" for that price..... dellstore03.dell.com.au |
