| 425584 | 2006-01-31 21:00:00 | Seems the Chinese government is rather put out by the Ralston-Purina© Company for false advertisement on their pet foods items. On packages of pet food there are pictures of dogs or cats and the purchasers say that there isn't any dog or cat inside the packaging. All they find are rice meal, flour and corn with some meat by-products. What's the mentality of a company like Ralston-Purina© to so falsely advertise that there are dogs or cats inside the containers when there's no such food inside? Makes one wonder how much trouble Gerbers® Baby Foods Inc would be if they sold their product in countries where cannibalism is practised. |

LOL Metla, if you ever went into a petfood plant you'd think differently, and probably feel sorry for your dog. They get bins full of offcuts, offal, heads, tails, pizzles and all the unwanted bits in-between. Some of it can be high as a kite by the time they get it, and although they do their best to sort out the bad stuff, some will still get through. It is probably all OK by the time it gets to the finished product, but I'd rather not eat it. It is almost as bad as eating at MacDonalds. Cheers Billy 8-{) |
