425047 2006-01-29 19:25:00 We were told that the fireworks were going to be coming from behind, so I was surprised when the 1st star shell went off over to my right behind princess wharf, but a quick down the wharf with a thousand other people i managed to get an excellent view.

Ah :) (I was at the bottom of princess wharf up high on the public viewing desk)

can do it all again later this week when skytower have their 10th anniversary fireworks display on Wednesday night.

Yep :) :D

anyone go?
The quote above doesn't sound too right to me, in terms of present and past-tense, does it? :groan: I didn't mean to be picky and I understand perfectly that acronyms are frequently used in computer forums. :annoyed: Shouldn't it be either "anyone goes?" or "anyone went?".

Cheers and thanks :)

425052 2006-01-30 23:23:00 James correctly "didn't mean to be ..." when he did it then. I "don't mean to be" picky, because I'm doing it now. Tenses. Past and present. (They come in various flavours, too ... "perfect" etc).
