686589 2008-07-09 00:30:00 I have two monitor ports (or plug holes) at the back of my computer. Vid card is Asus EN9800GX2 TOP/G/2DI/1G, GeForce 9800 GX2, 1024MB, DDR3,

Am I correct in assuming one is digital and the other analogue? If this is so, is there any simple way of getting two analogue ports?

At present I am running two digital monitors without many problems, but I occasionly get an error message about "analogue cable". It doesn't seem to affect anything
I notice in my dual monitor setup that only one monitor is recognised and I had a hell of a job getting the second one to work, but it seems OK now.

Both your ones are digital, but you can get converters. DVI is far preferable, why would you want Analogue?

I don't want analogue. I want two digital which it seems I have.
Looks like an error somewhere else.

686592 2008-07-09 02:06:00 Is this error coming up on one of your monitors? Possibly its saying that the analogue plug isn't plugged in...? wratterus (105)
686593 2008-07-09 02:10:00 That's exactly what it says.

Also my dual monitr setup only says I have one monotor and it won't give me the optiom of selecting another. Yet they are both working.
