| 425567 | 2006-01-31 02:08:00 | In a recent poll on Stuff news site a poll asked if you would starve rather than eat a nutritional supplement developed by a NZ dog food manufacturer. 657 people (13.6%) answered yes. What kind of idiot would die rather than eat what is a perfectly good nutritional food. It puts a whole new perspective on opinion polls but I suppose the truism that 50% of people are below average intelligence applies. | Dally (6292) | ||
| 425568 | 2006-01-31 02:15:00 | These are part of the 93.8% who, if polled, will say they are of above average intelligence. (This statistic is as authentic, and credible, as any poll. That is, I thought of a number. Then I added a decimal point to make it true). | Graham L (2) | ||

What kind of idiot would die rather than eat what is a perfectly good nutritional food. It puts a whole new perspective on opinion polls but I suppose the truism that 50% of people are below average intelligence applies. The essential problem is the poll asked the question of people who were currently NOT starving. Withhold food from them for a week and ask the question again and the answer might well be different. |

| 425571 | 2006-01-31 03:56:00 | Countries in which eating dog and cat is part of the culture have to be careful when labelling dog or cat food tins. If they put a label on with a picture of the cat/dog apparently people buy this thinking it is canned dog/cat for human consumption. | Jen (38) | ||
| 425572 | 2006-01-31 03:59:00 | This makes the market segment aimed at to be of some concern when pictures of people are on the packets. | Graham L (2) | ||

Would you stand by and watch a murder so you survive? Would you offer yourself as meat so others survive? None of us will know until faced with it. |

| 425575 | 2006-01-31 06:39:00 | This food, as you probably all realise, has nothing to do with eating dogs. It is similar to a dog biscuit and the manufacturer, if the publicity is to be believed, eats it herself every day. Metla - would you add a little curry to the rear end |
